We are seeking a culturally sensitive volunteer to support our Community Support Team with multiple customer service tasks. (Monday through Thursday)
+ Skills/Abilities
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Customer service oriented
- Strong verbal communication and listening skills
- Organized and able to multi-task with minimal supervision
+ Essential Role Functions
- Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately
- Welcome walk-in and clients with appointments
- Assist clients with requests and provide necessary resources and information
- Prepare material and/or gift bags for workshops/classes/events
- Create marketing material for promotional purposes
- Provide support with data entry and assist in generating a variety of organizational reports
- Support in the coordination and preparation of community and outreach events
+ Education and Experience
- No experience in the field necessary. Training will be provided.
- Preferably, knowledge in customer service and administration
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Health background preferred
+ Requirements
- Oral and written communication in Spanish
- All volunteers must pass a criminal background check and an informal interview with the Volunteer Coordinator.
- Complete Confidentiality Training through MIVAN (2 hours).
