    Description

    We are seeking a culturally sensitive volunteer to support our Community Support Team with multiple customer service tasks. (Monday through Thursday)

    + Skills/Abilities

    • Bilingual (Spanish/English)
    • Customer service oriented
    • Strong verbal communication and listening skills
    • Organized and able to multi-task with minimal supervision

    + Essential Role Functions

    • Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately
    • Welcome walk-in and clients with appointments
    • Assist clients with requests and provide necessary resources and information
    • Prepare material and/or gift bags for workshops/classes/events
    • Create marketing material for promotional purposes
    • Provide support with data entry and assist in generating a variety of organizational reports
    • Support in the coordination and preparation of community and outreach events

    + Education and Experience

    • No experience in the field necessary. Training will be provided.
    • Preferably, knowledge in customer service and administration
    • Must be 18 years of age or older.
    • Health background preferred

    + Requirements

    • Oral and written communication in Spanish
    • All volunteers must pass a criminal background check and an informal interview with the Volunteer Coordinator.
    • Complete Confidentiality Training through MIVAN (2 hours).
