    • Modeling positive interactions and reinforcing participant engagement
    • Collaborating with Program Assistants and volunteers to ensure smooth session flow
    • Preparing materials, setting up the program space, and cleaning up after the session
    • Tracking attendance and sharing important updates with staff
    • Ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants
    • Building supportive relationships with parents and caregivers
    • Representing the mission, values, and culture of GiGi’s Playhouse

    • Social work
    • Music, dance, or art instruction
    • Early childhood education
    • Recreational therapy
    • Related disciplines supporting child or adult skill development

However, individuals with strong passion, experience working with people with disabilities, or a background in youth engagement are also encouraged to apply.

    • Are enthusiastic about lifelong learning
    • Exhibit creative thinking and problem solving skills
    • Are comfortable stepping into a leadership role
    • Work well with a team
    • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality

    Time Commitment

    • Programs typically run once per week or once per month, depending on the session
    • Sessions last one hour, with additional time needed for setup and cleanup
    • A minimum commitment of one program cycle is encouraged for continuity with families
