Volunteer as a Small-Group Instructor for Adult English Learners
Are you available Monday evenings (6-8pm) or Tuesday evenings (6-8pm) or Wednesday evenings (6-8pm)?
WATCH CDC invites volunteers to lead small instructional groups of adult English learners.
**All lesson plans and materials are provided**, and you'll work with the same group of learners throughout the trimester.
No prior teaching experience or multi-language proficiency is required. What matters most is reliability, an interest in adult education, and a commitment to helping participants develop practical communication skills.
Volunteer Expectations:
- Commit to the fall trimester (September 14 - December 18)
- Availability Monday evenings (6-8pm) or Tuesday evenings (6-8pm) or Wednesday evenings (6-8pm) (same day and time each week)
- Bring a respectful, patient, and culturally sensitive approach to working with diverse learners
