    Description

Volunteer as a Small-Group Instructor for Adult English Learners

Are you available Monday evenings (6-8pm) or Tuesday evenings (6-8pm) or Wednesday evenings (6-8pm)?

WATCH CDC invites volunteers to lead small instructional groups of adult English learners.

**All lesson plans and materials are provided**, and you'll work with the same group of learners throughout the trimester.

No prior teaching experience or multi-language proficiency is required. What matters most is reliability, an interest in adult education, and a commitment to helping participants develop practical communication skills.

    Volunteer Expectations:

    • Commit to the fall trimester (September 14 - December 18)
    • Availability Monday evenings (6-8pm) or Tuesday evenings (6-8pm) or Wednesday evenings (6-8pm) (same day and time each week)
    • Bring a respectful, patient, and culturally sensitive approach to working with diverse learners

If this volunteer opportunity interests you but you're unsure about the time commitment, please reach out! I'm happy to talk more in depth to determine whether the role is a good match for your availability!
