    Description

    Volunteer as a Small-Group Instructor for Adult English Learners

    Are you available Monday evenings (6-8pm) or Wednesday evenings (6-8pm) this summer?

    WATCH CDC invites volunteers to lead small instructional groups of adult English learners. All lesson plans and materials are provided, and you'll work with the same group of learners throughout the trimester.

    No prior teaching experience or multi-language proficiency is required. What matters most is reliability, an interest in adult education, and a commitment to helping participants develop practical communication skills.

    Volunteer Expectations:

    • Commit to the summer trimester (June 1 - August 13)
    • Availability Monday evenings (6-8pm) or Wednesday evenings (6-8pm) per week (same day and time each week)
    • Bring a respectful, patient, and culturally sensitive approach to working with diverse learners
