Volunteer with Minds Matter DC and help low-income students achieve their college dreams.
Mentor Overview:
- Mentors guide, challenge, and celebrate students through their three years in the program.
- Mentors act as caring adults in their students' lives. They provide consistent support while sharing insight from their journey to college and beyond.
- Minds Matter utilizes a 2:1 mentor-student model. Mentors work with their students alongside another adult mentor to form a triad. Your Co-Mentor is your partner and additional support for your student. When you meet with your triad, you will follow a curriculum that provides structure and will help you guide your student at each step of their journey.
