Clay County- Volunteer Meals on Wheels Driver
Descripción
Descripción
Helping to maintain people's independence is the cornerstone philosophy of Meals on Wheels. Since 1974, we have been providing hot, nutritious meals to the homebound elderly and disabled persons in Duval County. In 2019, we began delivering meals in Clay County and we are looking to expand our services in the area. The route will begin at the Green Cove Springs Senior Center. Meals on Wheels drivers will be responsible to their Lead Meals on Wheels Volunteer . This is a committed volunteer opportunity and not just an episodic volunteer position. A volunteer route typically covers less than 10 miles and can be completed within 60 minutes at least one a month (ideally, once a week). Volunteers must have a driver's license and provide their own transportation. The major function of this volunteer role is to deliver meals in a safe and timely manner with exceptional care, while providing the highest level of customer service.
