About Grievia
Grievia is a global movement dedicated to changing how grief is understood, supported, and held. Through thoughtful storytelling, reflection, and design, we create space for honest conversations around loss, care, and connection.
About the Role
As the Director of Operations, you will oversee Grievia’s operational systems, administration, compliance, and risk management to ensure effective and sustainable growth. You will strengthen internal processes, coordinate cross-functional teams, and support organizational excellence.
What You’ll Do
- Lead operational strategy, systems, and administrative processes.
- Develop and improve organizational policies, procedures, and workflows.
- Coordinate cross-functional operations to support team effectiveness.
- Manage operational budgets, resources, and internal reporting.
- Identify operational risks and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with leadership to drive organizational growth and sustainability.
Who This Role Is For
- Prior experience (2+ years preferred) in operations management, nonprofit operations, administration, compliance, or organizational management.
- Experience coordinating teams and managing cross-functional projects.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote, fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
- Are you able to commit at least 10 hours per week to the role?
- Passion for building efficient, ethical, and sustainable organizations.
