ABOUT THE POSITION
Role: Operations Co-Chair (Board Member)
Responsibilities
- Manage and update our website, as needed.
- Maintain our tech stack, including permissions and troubleshooting.
- Recruiting tasks, such as conduct screening interviews for new volunteers or board members.
- Other operational tasks as needed; all responsibilities are shared between both co-chairs.
- Co-create/deliver trainings (e.g., cybersecurity, new tools) to board members and volunteers.
Qualifications
- Reliable access to computer and webcam.
- Strong organizational and collaboration skills.
- Strong knowledge of software and digital technology.
- Experience with Google Admin and Monday.com preferred, but not required.

- LGBTQ+ Community Experience, Allyship, and Intersectionality: Strong personal, professional, and/or lived experience with LGBTQ+ communities, either as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community or through committed allyship. Possesses a deep understanding of intersectionality and how various identities (e.g., race, gender, socioeconomic status) intersect with LGBTQIA+ experiences.
- Collaborative Leadership and Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to work effectively with board members, volunteers, and external partners to achieve organizational goals. Demonstrates strong communication skills to engage, inspire, and maintain relationships with diverse perspectives and experiences.

Application Process

- Initial Interview (30-minute Zoom) with current Operations Chair.
- Final Interview (30-minute Zoom) with 1-2 board members.
- Invitation to accept volunteer role.
- Complete onboarding/training.
