Role Summary:

The Volunteer Handyman will support the maintenance, repair, and improvement of physical spaces and installations. This role ensures that facilities and project sites are safe, functional, and well-maintained, contributing to the smooth operation of on-site activities and community-focused initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance and repair tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, and basic electrical work.
• Inspect facilities and equipment to identify issues and ensure safety standards are met.
• Assist in setting up, assembling, and maintaining equipment or structures for projects and events.
• Support minor renovations and improvements to enhance functionality and usability of spaces.
• Collaborate with team members to prioritize and complete maintenance tasks efficiently.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in general maintenance, repairs, or handyman services.
• Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and safety practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve practical, hands-on issues.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks and lift equipment when needed.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with carpentry, electrical, or plumbing work.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and maintenance best practices.
• Experience working on community, nonprofit, or project-based initiatives.
