Pet Adoption Follow Up Coordinator

The Pet Adoption Follow Up Coordinator ensures that every animal adopted through PopFix continues to thrive in their new home. This role focuses on post-adoption communication, support, and relationship building with adopters to promote long-term placement success and animal well-being.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled follow-up check-ins with adopters via phone, text, or email

• Track follow-up timelines and document notes in the PopFix system

• Provide guidance on basic training, behavior, adjustment periods, and routine care

• Identify early signs of adoption challenges and coordinate support resources

• Communicate concerns to leadership when intervention may be needed

• Maintain positive, compassionate relationships with adopters

• Encourage photo updates and testimonials for social media and impact reporting
