The Fédération Internationale de la Jeunesse, in English the International Youth Federation (IYF), is an international non-profit youth organisation network governed by the present Statutes and the Swiss Civil Code. It is politically neutral and non-denominational, aiming to empower youth worldwide.
The IYF is a global youth network, an organisation advocating for change and connecting countries to knowledge, experience, and resources to empower young people across the world. IYF works in over 50 countries and territories, helping to achieve youth empowerment and improve the status of youth.
The Assistant Regional Director covers a broad range of issues ranging from programme formulation to delivery, oversight of IYF operations, leading strategic planning for IYF operations, setting of management targets, and monitoring support and services provided by IYF to projects and programmes in the member countries in the region. S/he assists the Regional Director in leading the regional team in strategic planning and identifies new programme areas while ensuring consistency with the region’s priorities and creative responses to emerging challenges and opportunities.

Responsibilities

Language
Advanced English skills are required for this role, as we work in English.
Location
This role must be based remotely in a APAC country.
Experience
Experience within an NGO, non-profit, INGO (such as the United Nations), government, charity, international development, or youth empowerment organisation is essential for this role.
