Role Overview
We are looking for a Volunteer QA Engineer to help ensure our platform is reliable and ready for real-world use.
This is a hands-on role focused on testing key product flows, identifying critical issues, and supporting a fast-moving engineering team.
What You Will Do
- Test core workflows:
- Patient registration and login
- Appointment booking and scheduling
- Doctor consultations (video and notes)
- Hospital dashboards
- Perform:
- Functional testing
- Regression testing
- Exploratory testing
- Validate APIs and integrations:
- HMS integrations
- HL7 FHIR endpoints
- Log bugs with clear reproduction steps and expected vs actual results
- Work closely with engineers to resolve issues quickly
- Help ensure demo and release stability
What We Are Looking For
Required:
- Some experience or strong interest in QA/testing
- Attention to detail and structured thinking
- Ability to clearly document bugs
- Basic understanding of web or mobile applications
Nice to Have:
- Experience with tools like Postman
- Basic knowledge of APIs
- Exposure to automation tools (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium)
- Interest in healthcare or health tech
Time Commitment
- Flexible, approximately 10–20 hours per week
- Ability to support testing before demos or releases is important
