Friends of Taras Shevchenko Park

Shevchenko Park is a small park located at Broad Street and Somerville Avenue and cared for by the Philadelphia Department of Recreation. Established in 1921, the park was named after Ukranian poet Taras Shevchenko.

We are the friends group that supports Shevchenko Park by organizing clean ups, community events, and participating in other Logan neighborhood activities.

We are scheduled for a huge park renovation and we are looking for support within our community.
