Babylon Preparatory Academy for Widows and Orphans

The Babylon Preparatory Center for Widows and Orphans was established in January of 2013 as a non-profit organization. Our goal is to raise money and gather resources to provide a safe, enriching environment for widows and orphans in Babylon, Iraq. We hope to train them in areas including computer skills, language enrichment, cooking, first aid, nursing, and education. However, recently our mission has shifted. However, we have currently shifted our focus to aid the large population of refugees fleeing Northern Iraq and Syria. Due to the influx of people in need, we are directing our efforts to support anyone escaping their homes looking for safety and shelter in this time of turmoil.
