Center for Patient Partnerships

About Us

The Center for Patient Partnerships (CPP), located in the University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School, is an interdisciplinary program with the mission to educate graduate and professional students of Law, Medicine & Public Health, Pharmacy, and Nursing, pre-health "gap year" students, and non-traditional students in patient advocacy; provide free advocacy services to the public; strengthen the field of health advocacy through research on advocacy's impact and promotion of best practices; and enhance the capacity of patients to influence health policy and the responsiveness of the health care system to consumers' experiences. CPP's educational program delivers Professional, Graduate, and Capstone Certificates in Consumer Health Advocacy, on campus and across the country via e-learning.
