Mother Care CIG

Mother Care Common Initiative Group ­­­(MCCIG) is a well known Community Based Organization in the Northwest Region of Cameroon. We believe that the development of our community can be effective and sustainable if only women are included as equal partners in development. Therefore good health, socioeconomic empowerment, political engagement of women is of utmost importance.  

That’s why we work with individual women and women’s groups, drawn from different villages and different works of live, and use women to run our affairs. We encourage our members to share their skills, best practices which are a powerful, cost –effective way to create lasting results.

Together we work to improve women’s access to quality essential services, information, opportunities and ideas that link them to the global world. MCCIG helps poor marginalized women understand their rights and empower them to participate as equal, fully-valued members of their community.
