Back ground

The organisation is a community faith based organisation founded by an individual whose innermost desire and passion is to see that every child in Uganda is catered for in all aspects of life. The reason for the name ‘friends of children circle’ was derived from one of the children’s games whereby a number of children hold hands to make a circle as one other child is inside the formed circle while on the other hand, another is outside the circle trying to pursue the one inside the circle but the ones holding hands will make sure they protect the one inside the circle from being caught by the pursuer. From this perspective therefore, FOCC UG shall use the idea of the game to bring together friends with common interest for children in unity, love and kindness making sure all children are protected, healthy, happy, dressed, fed, educated and above all transforming their way of life and teaching them the word of God hence raising and building future responsible, innovative and morally upright citizens.
