Minds Matter Philadelphia

Minds Matter transforms the lives of accomplished high school students from low-income families by broadening their dreams and preparing them for college success. Our students are hand-selected by guidance counselors from more than 15 local high schools and go through a rigorous application process. Once admitted, students are paired with two dedicated mentors. Our mentors are Philadelphia professionals who give their time while pursuing full-time careers or graduate degrees. Students are accepted into Minds Matter prior to their sophomore year and remain with the program until high school graduation. The organization’s services have developed into a comprehensive three year curriculum for high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors.
