Habitat for Humanity ReStore of Durham and Orange Counties

About Us

Habitat for Humanity ReStores are nonprofit home improvement stores and donation centers that sell new and gently used furniture, home accessories, building materials and appliances to the public at a fraction of the retail price. Habitat for Humanity uses proceeds from the sales of donated items to help build affordable homes locally and around the world.

In 2014, donations and purchases made at the ReStore allowed for six homes to be built for families in Durham and Orange counties. Visit www.restoredurhamorange.org to learn more about donating, shopping and volunteering, as well as, other exciting opportunities going on at the ReStore.

With more than 920 stores in five countries, proceeds generated by Habitat for Humanity ReStores are used to help build homes, communities and hope locally and around the world. Last year alone, Habitat ReStores raised more than $100 million for homebuilding and diverted more than 128,000 tons of reusable materials from landfills.
