About Us

We are an environmental conservation corps that empowers individuals from all backgrounds and abilities to contribute purposefully to their community through education and hands-on experience.

We impact communities through work on public lands, roads and waterways.

We envision a world where individuals utilize intelligence and positive energy to improve their lives, community and environment.

Community Training Works! (CTW) implements our mission, vision and purpose through a workforce development initiative and have been doing so since 2006. CTW has collaborative partnerships with public agencies where perform work that matters on public lands, roads and waterways. We offer opportunities young adults and veterans to improve their lives while improving their communities.

CTW's Young American Conservation Corps program where we improve public lands such as recreation sites and trails, provide opportunities for young adults and veterans to work in America's Great Outdoors. CTW's Youth Work Experience program is a collaboration with DOT where we improve public roadways. Aiders of the Lost Arch, CTWs Ancestral Lands program allows for opportunities to work alongside archaeologists on sensitive lands and prehistoric sites. Other programs such as our Coastal and Ecological Program young adults improve habitat for threatened and endangered species.

Based in Northwest Florida, we are statewide serving several areas of Florida as well as have serviced other areas in the southeast region.

There are always opportunities to grow with us and help with local community needs at CTW!
