Let There Be Light International

About Us

Let There Be Light International's mission is to combat Global Climate Change and Extreme Poverty by raising awareness about Energy Poverty and by fundraising for the purchase and distribution of Solar Lights to off-grid populations in sub-Saharan Africa.

Since 2014, we have donated safe solar lights to 8,000 families, impacting 45,000 people and have solar-electrified 25 off-grid health clinics, providing improved healthcare access and delivery to more than 440,000 people.

LTBLI donates individual Solar Lights to families living in extreme poverty and prioritizes distribution to handicapped and orphaned children, the elderly, new mothers, and widows living with HIV/AIDS. LTBLI also raises funds for the installation of solar lighting systems at un-electrified, off-grid Health Facilities.

Our vision is universal access to safe, modern energy to promote sustainable, inclusive development.
