About Us

Since 1980, EBLO has worked to improve the lives of Hispanic youth and families by providing educational opportunities and cultural programs.

PROGRAMS: After School Programs

After-school programming for Hispanic students that foster academic achievement, self esteem and cultural awareness. The programs emphasize basic skills with culturally focused enrichment activities. Parental involvement is encouraged. Qualified teachers and volunteers from school faculty, local colleges and the community provide on site tutoring sessions in Baltimore City Public Schools.

  • Graceland Park - O'Donnel Heights Elementary/Middle
Saturday School

Provides weekly tutoring to Hispanic children and youth with volunteers from local colleges and the community. The program emphasizes achievement and fosters self-esteem through culturally sensitive academic and recreational activities.

Entrance to the Future

State of the art bilingual Digital Village Hub Computer Learning Center sponsored by Hewlett Packard brings tools for learning, promoting growth and community development.

English as a Second Language (ESL) for Adults

Adult students of all levels of learning are offered classes in partnership with the Baltimore City Community College Adult Basic Education Program
