Position Overview:
MassCEC seeks a talented and experienced candidate to serve as a Senior Program Manager on MassCEC’s Workforce, Adult Training and Upskilling Programs. Successful candidates will provide extensive workforce development experience with a strong commitment to helping Massachusetts achieve its 2050 net zero emissions goals in a way that focuses on equitable solutions to support environmental justice neighborhoods, women and minority businesses, and transitioning fossil fuel workers.
Reporting to the Program Director, the Senior Program Manager will lead the development and procurement processes for several annual funding opportunities, including grants that support the successful development of Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBEs) in the clean energy industry, provide planning and implementation resources for equity-focused workforce training in climate critical positions, and advance awareness of clean energy careers across environmental justice and low-income communities. Additionally, the Senior Program Manager will play a key role in providing quality technical assistance to grantees, structuring effective outcomes reporting, overseeing staff focused on administrative processes, and contributing to strategic outreach and engagement with industry, workforce, education, and community stakeholders.
