RUTGERS LAW SCHOOL invites applications for a non tenure visiting clinical faculty position in the Camden location to begin in the summer of 2024. The position is funded by a three-year grant from the New Jersey State Bar Foundation (NJSBF). Each position will be for an initial one-year appointment with the potential for renewal for up to three years. Appointment for the non tenure visiting faculty position may be as a visiting assistant, associate, or full professor depending on experience and other considerations. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis so interested candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
The visiting clinical professor will co-teach with an experienced clinician in a newly constituted Gender Justice Clinic. Minimum requirements include a J.D. degree and membership in good standing of the Bar of any state; 3 years of legal practice experience related to gender discrimination, reproductive rights, domestic violence, or other gender justice issues; and demonstrated potential for teaching excellence.
