    Rutgers Law School is a pioneer in clinical education and currently boasts 16 clinics across its two campuses in Newark and Camden where student casework for actual clients is principally supervised by full-time Rutgers Law faculty.

    Rutgers Law School's clinical program was ranked 15th nationwide in 2021 and is consistently ranked as one of the top clinical programs in the country in annual surveys.

    Students in the clinical education programs learn lawyering skills and development of professional identity, working with clients on numerous issues . The clinics in Camden focus on issues affecting children and families (including child abuse and neglect, juvenile justice, and domestic violence), housing law, immigration law, prisoner reentry, and veterans advocacy.
