Description

A CHILD FOR ALL

A Child for All (ACFA) is a U.S. non-profit organization with operations in Mali, West Africa. ACFA provides a safe and loving environment for vulnerable children who have been living in the streets.  These children are given a home as well as nutritional meals, education, health care and the loving attention necessary to thrive.  Having grown up in Mali, ACFA’s founder possesses a unique understanding of how to alleviate the dislocation and hopelessness that these children experience.  ACFA provides the foundation for these children to grow and become empowered to achieve the future they deserve.

Given the growing number of vulnerable children in Mali, ACFA has two locations in the Bamako area to serve vulnerable children and people in the surrounding communities. ACFA’s teens who have been with ACFA for over 10 years live in the home the founder grew up in.  25 toddlers live at the Zorokoro Children’s Complex just outside of Bamako. This Complex includes a dormitory for the ACFA children as well as a school which has kindergarten and first and second grade classes for the ACFA children and children from the surrounding villages.  The Complex also has a community library and computer lab.  ACFA is now seeking funding for a healthcare clinic, a dining hall and a sports complex as well as continuing operational expenses. ACFA's vision to empower Mali's children to achieve a future they deserve is only continued by the work of our supporters and volunteers across the globe.  See www.achildforall.org.

ACFA is run by a small and dedicated working board that gathers monthly. Our board members are active advocates and ambassadors for the organization, eager to make a difference in the lives of Malian children.
