San Francisco AIDS Foundation (SFAF) envisions a future where health justice is achieved for all people living with or at risk for HIV. Ultimately, we strive for a day when race is not a barrier to health and wellness, substance use is not stigmatized, HIV status does not determine quality of life, and HIV transmission is eliminated.

Position Overview:
The Community Mobilization Manager at the San Francisco AIDS Foundation will play a crucial role in various initiatives building support for effective, evidence-based approaches to substance use and recovery and advocating for people who use drugs. This position will coordinate the Treatment on Demand Coalition and organize people who use drugs including people in recovery through the HIV Advocacy Network (HAN).

Physical Requirements and Work Environments:
Skill in operating equipment such as a personal computer, copy machine and telephone system. Ability to perform routine bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching. Ability to lift and carry supplies for events. Education and Experience:
This position will have access to protected health information (PHI) and may only access, use or disclose the minimum information necessary to perform their designated role on behalf of San Francisco AIDS Foundation, regardless of the extent of access provided.
Work Environment:
This position may work remotely or be located at 940 Howard Street or 470 Castro Street, San Francisco. This position does require regular attendance at in-person meetings and events, and may occasionally require traveling to other office locations or off-site meetings. Role will include evening and weekend coverage for advocacy and educational events.
