    The Laurasian Institution (TLI) is a non-governmental, not-for-profit organization founded in 1990. The program and activities of TLI give particular attention to cultural interactions with Asia.

    Recognizing the cultural foundations of economic, political, and social policy, TLI seeks to:

    • Develop individual competency in dealing with and among diverse cultures,
    • Encourage realistic and mutually beneficial methodologies of dealing with cultural diversity,
    • Create educational programs and coalitions to communicate and further the foregoing.

    The Laurasian Institution contributes to its mission by creating programs that offer opportunities for students and educators alike to more directly engage the other.
