About Us
The Education Study seeks to help small non-profits make more informed decisions as they work to improve rural education in Nicaragua by:
- Studying how small non-profits work on the ground;
- Examining how successfully small non-profits are meeting their goals;
- Increasing awareness about rural education by disseminating the analyzed data to interested parties; and
- Opening an ongoing conversation about the best ways to affect change in rural education.
We operate on the idea that when deciding how to help children get a better education or access to any education at all an organization should use all the information available to them in order to make the best decision. However, small nonprofits often lack the necessary time and money to adequately research methods before acting. We seek to help small non-profits by giving them access to information on the successful methods of other organizations working in similar locations.
