Help tell the global LGBTQ story! Write profiles of activists around the world.

Alturi publishes meaningful stories that illuminate the struggles for LGBTQ equality worldwide. Even in the most adverse social and cultural circumstances brave individuals stand up and demand respect for themselves and their communities. Our goal is to bring attention and funding to these courageous activists.

In this position, you will identify, contact, interview, and write a 500-800 word profile on the motivations, challenges, and successes of a young lesbian organizer in Brazil, a trans refugee activist in Uganda, or a gay politician in Poland.

This work is spiritually rewarding and highly educational.
