The Bill Sorro Housing Program (BiSHoP) is a nonprofit that is dedicated to ensuring that vulnerable members of our community can access and keep affordable housing in San Francisco. Our free services include affordable housing application assistance, case management, community workshops, tenants' rights counseling, and advocacy.

The Bill Sorro Housing Program (BiSHoP) is a unique housing service center established by a group of community workers committed to social change to ensure vulnerable members of our community have access to long-term affordable housing. We were inspired by Bill Sorro, a lifelong activist, trade unionist, community organizer, native San Franciscan and advocate for human rights. BiSHoP provides housing services for low to moderate income individuals, immigrants, veterans, seniors, the LGBTQIA+ community and people with disabilities.
