Resilience, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to improving the mental health of students, as well as reducing mass shootings, suicide, and depression. Resilience, Inc also works to combat declining test scores, low student engagement, and a slew of other social issues. 

  

Our organization focuses on offering Social Emotional Learning tools to enable K-12 schools to teach emotional intelligence through five core topics; self-awareness, self-control, social awareness, relationship manageEWGRIYPment, goal setting, and effective decision-making. Resilience, Inc. also provides tools for acquiring and maintaining inspiration, hope, and overall well-being.  

Our mission is to teach SEL at every school in the country. Resilience offers volunteer programs that require at least a 4 month commitment with a minimum of 5 hours per week. There are flexible start and end dates with the option to continue after meeting the minimum requirement


We are offering an exciting opportunity for passionate individuals interested in gaining practical experience in the field of cybersecurity. As a Cyber Security Analyst you will have the chance to work alongside our experienced cybersecurity professionals and contribute to real-world projects. This volunteer program is designed to provide valuable hands-on experience, enhance your knowledge and skills, and pave the way for a successful career in cybersecurity.

Responsibilities:

- Promote the social emotional curriculum through developing projects for the IT department. 

- Protecting the company's systems from cyber attacks. 

- Training the company on correct practices and procedures. 

- Working With a Team to Locate Vulnerabilities. 

- Performing Ethical Hacking. 

- Installing and Operating Security Software. 

- Developing and Implementing Organization

-Wide Security Protocols. 

- Perform regular audits to ensure security practices are compliant. 

 

Requirements:

- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or graduate program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field 

- Experience in CSS, JavaScript, HTML, and other related softwares 

- Experience with remote production software 

- Completed coursework in Deep Learning, Machine Learning, or similar topics. 

- Hands-on experience with fine-tuning models using the HuggingFace framework.

 - Proficiency in utilizing Sci-Kit Learn and Matplotlib for a complete Machine Learning pipeline. 

- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or Tensorflow/Keras. 

- Prior experience deploying ML models to cloud platforms. 

- Hands-on experience with AWS services. 

- Able to work independently. 

- Able to work on a team and attend remote weekly meetings. 

- Reliable, punctual, and pays attention to details. 

- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

- Ability to work independently and as a team.

 - Can attend weekly remote meetings. 

- Have an eagerness to learn and improve critical skills. 

- Good problem-solving skills.

 - Objective learning.
