Volunteer Role:
We are currently seeking volunteers to make calls weekly, dedicating 45-90 minutes to remind participants about their upcoming group meetings. The primary goal is to combat loneliness and isolation among older residents in public housing in Brooklyn, with a focus on Black women. Volunteers have the opportunity to engage in an ongoing, helpful, and convivial manner with program participants. Look forward to maintaining contact with friendly elders.
