Description

Volunteer within our Call Center by answering the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline! This is the perfect opportunity for those interested in the mental health field that are looking to give back and make a difference to those who are in an emotional crisis.

At Contra Costa Crisis Center, we strive to provide members of our community with emotional support and concrete resources 24/7. Each day, our dedicated volunteers and staff provide support, counseling, and hope - helping people in emotional or psychological distress. Our mission is to keep people alive and safe, help them through crises, and provide or connect them with culturally relevant services in the community.

If you’re passionate about helping others and are ready to make a difference in someone’s life, look no further! Currently recruiting volunteers over the age of 21 who are computer literate. Sign up to begin the onboarding process here: https://www.crisis-center.org/volunteer/.

Please note: we are unable to accept court appointed community service volunteers for this role.
