Women's organization seeking Board members

The Kota Alliance is a Harlem, NYC- based nonprofit for gender equity and women's empowerment. We focus on the two pillars of women's advancement: economic empowerment and health/wellness. We also support the local community with healing arts programming, and advocate for women globally. We work in close collaboration with other mission-aligned community organizations. We need more board members familiar and with and representative of the local community, as well as women's issues globally. Financial, legal and communications/PR expertise would be very valuable. We have no set "give/get" but are grateful whatever your contribution you can make, including time and skills.
