The Kota Alliance

The Kota Alliance is an initiative to establish a World Center for Gender Equity in New York City as a hub for partner organizations and women entrepreneurs who work for gender equality and women’s empowerment. We offer our partners workshops, trainings, advocacy, resources, and network-building in order to create collective impact. We currently need to focus our efforts on local New York-based organizations working to uplift women in need of workforce development, skills training  and entrepreneurship training and guidance, especially with minorities and underserved women in mind. We also engage wellness-focused practitioners and organizations.. 

In January 2022 we acquired a building in West Harlem for women entrepreneurs and women-focused nonprofits in northern Manhattan. Parallel with all this, we also serve our global partner organizations through online advocacy and helping to share their stories.
