Description

Help save adoptable dogs and cats!

Northwest Organization for Animal Help (The NOAH Center) is dedicated to stopping the euthanasia of healthy, adoptable, and treatable homeless dogs and cats. We are committed to family-friendly pet adoptions, humane education, volunteer programs, and high-quality spay and neuter programs available for low-income residents, through our Spay & Neuter Clinic.

We need volunteers to help care for the animals! Bring your love of animal welfare, and your spirit of giving back.

Regular shifts are needed for both cat and dog kennel techs, as well as transport drivers (as needed), foster-care parents, and more.

Kennel techs socialize with dogs and cats while cleaning out their suites, ensuring they have food and water, picking up any mess, changing out bedding, and always giving a head scratch or cuddle while they're waiting for new homes.

We particularly need kennel techs in the mornings (dog and cat, starting at 8 a.m.) and the late afternoon (cats, around 2 p.m. 6 p.m.). No special skills are needed -- just a willingness to learn.

Responses are sent via email, so once the application is sent, please keep an eye on your in-box (including spam/junk folders). We do a brief onboarding orientation, then we work together to set up a shift schedule that works for us both.

Animal shelter overcrowding is a serious issue in this country! Please volunteer to help us care for adoptable dogs and cats and give them the best lives possible.
