Team Up, Southwest Colorado

To unite and support local organizations and individuals in addressing community-identified needs to help people thrive in Southwest Colorado.

We are a regional nonprofit serving people in Archuleta, Dolores, La Plata, Montezuma, and San Juan Counties of Colorado. We are working toward a future in which all individuals in our communities have access to the resources, relationships, and opportunities that lead to healthy, meaningful lives through Community Collaboration, Community Support, and Community Service.

Our community collaboration initiative uses a collective impact framework to bring together nonprofits, schools, counselors, parents, and community members to tackle community-level issues. Each county chooses one to two priority areas tailored their own needs, and creates action teams to create strategies that address the root barriers of each issue area.

Our Team Up AmeriCorps Program coordinate the placement of AmeriCorps members at local nonprofits, schools, and government agencies, hiring to meet a program’s specific needs.
