Health Equity Advocates

Health Equity Advocates empowers students to become leaders in public health and health equity by providing the education, resources, and support needed to create meaningful change. We connect students across communities through a network of chapters that develop initiatives addressing the health needs of their local communities. Through student-led action, advocacy, and education, HEA seeks to build the next generation of health equity leaders and advance a more equitable future for all.

Health Equity Advocates is a student-led nonprofit dedicated to empowering young people to take action on public health issues affecting their communities. We serve high school and college students interested in public health, healthcare, health equity, advocacy, research, and community service by providing education, resources, and opportunities to develop meaningful initiatives.

Our work is centered on health equity, student leadership, community impact, accessibility, collaboration, and evidence-based action. We believe students should have the knowledge, resources, and support to identify health needs in their communities and help create solutions that are locally relevant and meaningful.
