Day 1 Recovery center INC

Day 1 Recovery Center exists to provide a safe and supportive environment where families impacted by substance use, incarceration, homelessness, and mental health challenges can heal, reunify, and thrive together. Our mission is to walk alongside parents and children from crisis to stability by offering recovery support, housing navigation, life skills training, and family reunification services. We believe that when families are given the right guidance, resources, and community support, they can break cycles of hardship and create lasting change.

We are a nonprofit in the startup phase, and right now our greatest need is for volunteer mentors and experienced leaders who can help guide us as we grow. We are seeking individuals who are willing to share their expertise in nonprofit management, governance, and program development, including seasoned board members who can point us in the right direction and help us build a strong foundation. I bring passion, drive, and lived experience to this work, along with the dedication of pursuing my Bachelor’s in Business, so I can strengthen the skills needed to be successful. What I need most is guidance from those who have walked this path before and who are willing to mentor an organization determined to blossom into the resource I once needed in my darkest days.
