Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust conserves and stewards vital natural areas, supports a vibrant local food system, and connects people with the natural world through inclusive education and recreation programs. Our goal is to protect our natural resources, cultivate care for the natural world, and in so doing, foster resilient, connected communities now and for generations to come.

Our vision is for a world where healthy ecosystems and strong communities grow together, each sustaining the other. We seek to strengthen community connections to the land we all share by:

• conserving and stewarding land for long-term community and ecosystem resilience;
• creating inclusive educational opportunities;
• increasing local food accessibility;
• making it easy and inviting for everyone to experience the wonder of nature; and
• building partnerships that help people and nature thrive.

Our service area includes the towns of Brunswick, Topsham, and Bowdoin, Maine, though our reach and impact far surpasses this geographic area. Our Saturday Farmers Market draws customers from near and far and provides a ready market for over 40 growers, makers, and bakers, with some coming from over an hour away. Our CREA Summer Camp provides outdoor enrichment to over 200 kids each season, with no residency requirement. This summer we have provided 20 full and 12 partial scholarships to help reduce any financial barrier to camp and scholarship help is met with wrap-around services like carpooling and help with gear and lunches. Our school field trip programs reach kids in the three towns we serve, plus a few more. Our community garden is open to anyone who wishes to have a growing space. And our trails and community events are open to all comers.

Our values include adaptability, integrity, interconnection, and relationships. Our leadership principals include the cultivation of a culture of trust and a commitment to both transparency and communciation.
