    Description

    Write On Fundraising brings equity and compassion to philanthropy by facilitating access and amplifying voices to increase capacity, influence communities, and invest in people and organizations. We accomplish this by serving as a bridge between traditional fundraising practices and new upstream methodologies. Simply put, we provide fresh fundraising solutions for high-impact nonprofits through grant writing, individual giving, and capital campaign services.

    Our innovative team collaborates remotely across the U.S. and is headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Communication and impact fuel Write On culture - systems like #slack, Harvest, and Asana enable us to produce the best possible outcomes for our clients while providing life balance and value to team members.

    Due to continued growth and expansion, Write On Fundraising is currently searching for an experienced (3+ years of grant writing) and naturally curious individual to join our remote team as a full-time grant writer. The grant writer role is both remote and flexible in schedule, but is expected to attend regular staff meetings via Zoom. The position has a standard work week of 40 hours and receives a laptop and a cell phone stipend. The starting salary for this position is $41,000-$45,000 ($19.71-$21.63/Hr.) based on experience. Health, vision and dental benefits are available as well as generous PTO and holidays. Grant writers report to the Relationship Manager.

    Qualified applicants will demonstrate:

    Qualifications:

    • Experienced (3+ years of grant writing)
    • History of winning private, corporate and/or government grants
    • Ability to quickly master new processes, software programs, and technology
    • Motivation and autonomy to serve on a remote team of diverse fundraising professionals
    • Exceptional organization and project management skills
    • Remote team experience is preferred.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide outstanding customer care to nonprofit organizations
    • Research and qualify new prospects
    • Engage in grant discovery and cultivation processes
    • Draft and refine high-impact proposals
    • Create superior stewardship and reporting products
    • Serve as a point person for contracts

    Previous experience working as part of a remote team is preferred. Essential duties include working with Write On Fundraising officers to provide outstanding customer care to nonprofit organizations; research and qualify new prospects; engage in grant discovery and cultivation processes; draft and refine high-impact proposals; and create superior stewardship and reporting products.

    Key performance indicators include:

    • Calendaring and time management
    • Project management and task completion
    • Client hours billed
