  • About Us

    Clean Future is a student-led initiative that aims to pass clean energy legislation across the United States and increase public awareness of clean energy. Our full name and tagline is "for a clean future" and we are actively working toward a future of clean energy in the United States through policy advocacy and curricula. We are 100% student led and student run. Clean Future first launched in January 2023 and have since expanded nationwide. We have done work in New York, Virginia, California, North Carolina, Michigan, and Florida.

    We are actively designing clean energy lesson plans and interactive games for elementary school science teachers. We also draft support testimony for clean energy and opposition testimony for fossil fuel bills. We submit public comments on clean energy initiatives, and give official recommendations to the UNHCR and the EPA. We meet with legislators, draft testimony, bill track, draft infographics, and more.

    We believe that in combating barriers to civic engagement which is why there are no barriers to being a member of Clean Future. We conduct routine internal workshops to teach people policy advocacy. There are also no age limits. Most CF members are in high school or college but we also have had members as young as 8th grade and as old as mid twenties.
