    Qualifications

    We are looking for a content consultant with relevant work experience and a commitment to applying their writing talents for good. At least three years of branding, strategic communication and/or nonprofit experience is preferred, but not required.

    This is a hybrid role based in Brooklyn, NY. Team members work in-person Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, with Mondays and Fridays remote. Salary is commensurate with experience.

    • Has a bachelor’s degree; a focus in business, marketing, advertising, communications, journalism, creative writing and related fields is preferred

    Responsibilities

    Brand Storytelling

    • Contribute to brand discovery (e.g., conducting audits, facilitating interviews, synthesizing contextual trends) and development of messaging frameworks and brand narratives
    • Collaborate with the brand strategy team to translate strategies into platforms and campaigns that drive recognition, relevance, revenue and reach for our clients

    Content Development + Implementation

    • Develop brand messaging and campaign toolkits, including audience profiles, primary and secondary messaging, ready-to-use content (e.g., boilerplates, elevator speeches)
    • Guide clients and internal teams on the implementation and activation of the content across channels, including for campaigns, supporting the development and facilitation of workshops, trainings and toolkits
    • Create content for a range of channels and formats — from brochures to multimedia to impact reports

    Conceptual + Creative Support

    • Contribute to the generation of names, taglines and campaign themes
    • Support content development for creative deliverables, including for visual identity presentations, guidelines and more

    Salary Band: $65,000–$85,000*
