    Success Teams Lead

    Arabella Advisors is seeking a senior leader to help advance our mission in the social sector by overseeing a team of account managers in providing exceptional operational support to mission-driven clients. This role serves as a trusted advisor to a portfolio of executive clients and leaders in philanthropy, and oversees operations for a wide range of client service support areas, including philanthropic initiatives, donor collaboratives, advocacy campaigns, and nonprofit organizations. Incumbents will collaborate with business development teams to drive revenue growth, ensure service excellence, and strengthen relationships across the social sector. Additionally, this role mentors and develops high-performing teams, while advancing Arabella’s equity and belonging objectives.

    Essential Responsibilities

    Client Service

    • Manage and grow a portfolio of fiscally sponsored client projects, leading a team of account managers to deliver best-in-class service, and coordinating with other lines of business to manage client relationships across their lifecycle within the Arabella ecosystem.
    • Act as a trusted and expert advisor to client leaders and donors, enabling innovative and efficient ways of achieving impact. Demonstrate expert facility with strategic operations, donor and grant/contract management, capacity building, and financial and legal compliance.
    • Act as strategist and problem-solver on client engagements, prioritizing service standards, sustainability, compliance and partnership in achieving impact and client satisfaction.
    • Oversee scoping, pricing, profitability, and revenue management, facilitating revenue growth, scope expansion opportunities, and longevity of client relationships.

    Business Development Collaboration

    • Collaborate with the business development team to structure, launch and manage client engagements, and oversee an assigned set of stakeholder relationships to inspire trust and client loyalty.
    • Work closely with business development team to manage portfolios (including key strategic accounts) to achieve revenue maintenance and growth targets.
    • Coordinate with business development and other LOB colleagues to proactively and responsively address clients’ range of addressable needs within Arabella’s suite of solutions.
    • Be a brand ambassador for the value and impact of Arabella’s suite of solutions, with focused expertise on fiscal sponsorship solutions.

    Leadership

    • As a key member of the PS senior leadership team, contribute to organizational strategy, and facilitate the achievement of team objectives.
    • Responsible for key business performance metrics including client and staff retention, and achieving utilization, revenue and profitability targets.
    • Enable business outcomes and productive staff engagement and inclusion by acting as a company ambassador to teams, and elevating staff perspectives to executive leadership.

    Management

    • Manage team of directors to lead client portfolios and develop, motivate, engage and retain team members.
    • Be a coach, mentor and model to team members to productively engage clients, and develop into skilled and high-performing individuals.
    • Model equity and inclusion and cultivate diverse perspectives.
    • Manage performance accountabilities including individualized goals and role expectations for each direct report, and ensure a culture of feedback and accountability.

    To Be Successful in This Role, You’ll Need

    General

    • 10+ years of professional senior leadership experience at the nexus of philanthropy, nonprofit and/or client services.
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required. Graduate degree in related field (business administration, public administration, nonprofit management) a plus.
    • Skilled as a consultant to senior leaders. Able to maintain a sophisticated personal presence that builds partnership, demonstrates gravitas, and is rooted in curiosity and inclusion.
    • Advanced verbal /written skills that demonstrate empathy, authenticity and persuasiveness.
    • Proven track record of maintaining and growing a book of business.
    • Ability to identify opportunities and innovations based on portfolio trend analysis
    • Demonstrated ability to work across diverse teams to innovate and problem-solve.
    • Familiarity or experience with fiscal sponsorship a plus.
    • Client service and stakeholder management
    • Innovative and thoughtful problem-solver who is dedicated to tackling some of the more pressing challenges of the social sector.
    • Able to represent Arabella to partners as the go-to resource for addressing philanthropy’s greatest challenges.
    • Proven track record as a trusted advisor to leaders, as demonstrated by facilitating groups to visualize and actualize their impact. Demonstrated ability to cultivate deep, authentic relationships.
    • Proven leader in delivering high-touch, high‐quality customer service.
    • Experience leading cross-functional teams to achieve results in a complex environment.
    • Skilled in coordinating with business development team to facilitate sales that are scalable, innovative, and achieve revenue and profitability goals.
    • Able to identify new opportunities among client segment through careful cultivation of relationships within and outside of Arabella.
    • Able to substantively contribute to thought leadership for the firm.

    Knowledge and Expertise

    • Ability to represent the firm as an expert in one or more of its functional capabilities (e.g. fiscal sponsorship, DAFs, international NGO’s, advocacy compliance, nonprofit governance, etc.), or issue areas (e.g. public health, conservation, climate, reproductive rights, global development, gun violence, economic mobility, education, etc.).
    • Ability to get up to speed quickly on many different issues and functional capabilities, and deliver informed support.
    • Skilled with budgeting and finance management, forecasting and profitability monitoring.

    Total Rewards (compensation and benefits)

    This is a full-time position. We offer a competitive and holistic total rewards package that includes salary, bonus, and benefits. Our compensation ranges are based on national compensation benchmarks for similar organizations.

    The annual salary range for this position is $190,000 - $220,000, and this position has an annual bonus potential of 15%.

    We consider national benchmark indicators along with job related skills, experience and relevant education and training, to determine compensation that is fair and competitive.
