    About the Role

This nonprofit is seeking a Development Officer to help implement a fundraising strategy that supports our long-term sustainability. This is a part-time, contract position ideal for someone who brings both strategic thinking and hands-on experience with donor engagement and values-aligned communications. You’ll work closely with the founder to cultivate relationships with funders, secure resources, and grow a fundraising approach rooted in reciprocity, transparency, and impact.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Cultivate and manage relationships with individual donors and philanthropic partners.
    • Implement a fundraising plan aligned with our mission, priorities, and stage of growth.
    • Draft donor messaging and coordinate fundraising outreach and campaigns.
    • Maintain donor records and support fundraising reports using a CRM system.
    • Collaborate with the Executive Director to ensure fundraising reflects our impact, values, and voice.

    What We’re Looking For

    • Experience in nonprofit fundraising, donor networks or giving circles.
    • Familiarity with CRM donor database management systems.
    • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
    • Self-directed, highly organized, and adaptable in a start-up context.
    • Deep alignment with our mission, including cultural humility and integrity when representing reconciliation and healing work, particularly in cross-cultural or psychedelic contexts.

    About the Organization

This emerging nonprofit focuses on the intersection of peacebuilding, trauma healing, and the ceremonial use of psychedelics. We work with intercultural communities in Palestine and Israel through a blend of sacred activism, creative expression, and practices that integrate healing and justice. Rooted in research and ritual, our yearlong programs bring together diverse groups to rebuild trust, deepen connection, and catalyze collective transformation. As an early-stage nonprofit, we’re building a global network of peacebuilders grounded in care, creativity, and shared responsibility.

Delphi is assisting with hiring on behalf of the nonprofit. Additional organization details will be shared during the interview.
