    Work Hours: Monday–Thursday, approx. 7:45 AM – 3:00 PM (flexible schedule depending on project needs)

    ROLE OVERVIEW

    Perry Street Prep is hiring two mission-driven Summer Interns to support our school community: one Academic Intern and one Compliance & School Operations Intern. These roles are ideal for individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in education, school operations, and nonprofit administration. Interns will contribute meaningfully to the success of our summer programs and preparation for the upcoming school year. Both interns will report to designated members of the school leadership and operations team and will gain valuable exposure to the inner workings of a dynamic school environment

    Academic Intern, Summer Boost & Pre-K Pals Programs: The Academic Intern will work directly with students and instructional staff to enhance the academic and enrichment experience for our Summer Boost (rising 1st–9th graders) and Pre-K Pals (early learners) programs. Responsibilities may include:

    • Providing academic support through one-on-one or small group tutoring;
    • Supporting classroom instruction and enrichment activities;
    • Assisting with student field trips and engagement events;
    • Helping to foster a joyful and inclusive learning environment.

    Compliance & School Operations Intern, Summer Program Support: The Compliance & School Operations Intern will work closely with school leadership and administrative teams to ensure smooth operations and compliance for summer programming. Responsibilities may include:

    • Supporting daily logistics for summer programs, assisting with enrollment support, and back-to-school preparation;
    • Assisting with inventory management, materials organization, and classroom setup;
    • Contributing to data tracking, family communications, and engagement initiatives.
