    We are an Emmy award-winning, impact-driven company known for cutting-edge storytelling across film, television, and publishing. Our work has premiered on HBO and Netflix. We are currently launching BULLIED TO BESTIES, a powerful new memoir, and expanding our global movement, No More Drama with Mama—a mission to help people heal generational wounds through storytelling, forgiveness, and connection.

    Position Overview

    Are you passionate about media, storytelling, and making a difference? Kirschenbaum Productions is seeking a motivated Public Relations Intern to join our creative team. This is an ongoing, part-time internship opportunity, available immediately and running through May 2026. We are open to working with different interns each semester, so students seeking experience for a specific term are encouraged to apply.

    Responsibilities

    • Draft press releases and media pitches and creating social media content
    • Research media outlets, trends, and potential coverage opportunities
    • Pitch stories to radio, podcasts, TV, influencers, and bloggers
    • Research and coordinate book event venues and support book tour planning
    • Assist with outreach to potential corporate sponsors and partners
    • Support social media management and create engaging content
    • Help organize and coordinate events
    • Participate in creative brainstorming sessions for PR campaigns
    • Provide administrative and research support as needed

    Qualifications

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Comfortable with phone outreach and cold calls
    • Proficient in writing, editing, and proofreading
    • Familiarity with media relations and social media platforms
    • Strong research and organizational skills with attention to detail
    • Interest in public relations, nonprofit work, and impact media
    • Expert in Canva and CapCut or any other editing software

    Training & Mentorship

    Interns will work closely with our experienced team, receiving direct mentorship and practical training.

    • Location: Remote or hybrid (South Florida area preferred but not required)
    • Schedule: Flexible, part-time; can be structured around your academic calendar
    • Duration: Ongoing through May 2026; semester-based internships available
    • Compensation: $50/month stipend plus school credit
