    Description

    NetHope is seeking an energetic, collaborative, and proven fundraising professional to grow corporate philanthropy for NetHope’s mission as Senior Manager, Philanthropic Partnerships (Partner Programs & Sponsorships). In this role, you’ll lead a dynamic portfolio of corporate funders and sponsors – managing the full cycle of partnership development. You’ll oversee important development programs like the Corporate Partner Ecosystem and the Global Summit Sponsorship Program, ensuring that every partner has an exceptional experience and support the philanthropic efforts of the organization in an entrepreneurial, fast-growing fundraising environment.

    This is a hands-on role or a confident fundraiser who loves building authentic relationships, connecting donor priorities to mission outcomes, and delivering exceptional value.     Specific Responsibilities:

    Strategic Fundraising & Revenue Generation (85%)

    • Lead and grow portfolio of corporate and philanthropy partners, managing the full relationship cycle from identification through renewal for 4-6 figure gifts.
    • Oversee account management for assigned partnership portfolio: develop and implement partnership plans, coordinate deliverables, manage regular meetings and reporting, and identify opportunities for deeper engagement.
    • Lead fundraising, renewals, deliverables, and stewardship for key corporate development programs, including the Corporate Partner Ecosystem, and other assigned portfolios. Collaborates with leadership, internal staff, and/or additional relationship managers to support key activities.
    • Identify, qualify, and pursue new funding aligned with NetHope’s strategic priorities; contribute to pipeline development and donor research.
    • Create and maintain compelling pitch decks, concept notes, proposals, presentations, reports, donor communications, templates, and stewardship materials tailored to donor interests and development program needs.
    • Track and manage partner benefits, timelines, and milestones to ensure donor satisfaction and retention.
    • Collaborate across departments to co-develop annual partner plans, ensure smooth execution of deliverables, and elevate visibility of partner contributions and stories of impact.
    • Represent NetHope at donor-facing events and touchpoints to cultivate relationships and identify new opportunities.
    • Coordinates prospect and donor meetings, draft and distribute agendas and notes, and draft communications on behalf of department leadership and support Chief Partnerships and Philanthropy Officer and Senior Leadership Team in donor outreach and stewardship activities.
    • In collaboration with Chief Partnerships and Philanthropy Officer and Director of Partnerships and Philanthropy (Department Leadership), implement development strategy, with a focus on stewarding and deepening relationships with current partners, identifying opportunities for revenue growth and deeper support of NetHope’s mission.
    • Co-lead, contribute, support, and operationalize NetHope events as assigned including events related to partnership program deliverables, Partner-Member spaces, and webinars.
    • Manage the planning and delivery of all Corporate Partner Ecosystem benefits. Support the execution of convenings (NetHope Global Summit, virtual events) that showcase partner impact and engagement opportunities.
    • Support donor research, qualification, and cultivation activities as part of a team-wide pipeline strategy.
    • Implement a relationship-based fundraising approach grounded in trust, mutual value, and long-term partnership.

    NetHope Global Summit Sponsorship Program Management (included in percentage above)

    • Serve as the lead fundraiser for the NetHope Global Summit Sponsorship Program, responsible for cultivating new prospects, securing sponsorships, and meeting annual revenue targets. Collaborate with department leadership and colleagues on co-fundraising for key accounts as needed.
    • Own the full lifecycle of sponsor engagement – from pipeline development and pitch creation through benefit delivery, stewardship, and renewal – with a strong focus on high-touch relationship management, partner satisfaction, and proactive internal collaboration.
    • Collaborate with department leadership and Summit team to design compelling sponsorship packages, shape the strategy, and contribute meaningfully to event planning and fundraising vision.
    • Act as the primary point of contact and concierge for all Summit sponsors, ensuring a seamless and professional experience from onboarding to post-event follow up. Maintain and implement
    • Project manage all aspects of sponsorship benefit fulfilment ensuring key milestones are met; developing and maintaining templates for regular updates, meetings, tracking, and reporting; maintaining a regular cadence of communication with sponsors and key partner staff; manage and update collateral, web content, and recognition material working closely with the Communications team.
    • Identify and support opportunities for sponsors to engage more broadly across NetHope, acting as a bridge to year-round partnership.
    • Other duties as assigned

    Partner Management and Development Operations (15%)

    • Provide operational and administrative support for assigned partnerships, including onboarding/offboarding, meeting preparation and coordination, collateral development, and reporting – ensuring alignment of expectations, deliverables, and internal workflows.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to track partner benefits, increase satisfaction, and deliver high-quality experiences that meet goals and increase retention.
    • Contribute to development operations by maintaining CRM data, supporting pipeline development, opportunity tracking, prospect research, gift tracking, and ensuring data integrity and compliance.
    • Coordinate regular donor reporting for assigned partnerships across a wide range of internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance and agreed timelines are met.
    • Manage, implement, and optimize systems and procedures for efficient and effective functioning of the department, effective Moves Management and donor relations, data integrity, revenue tracking, and use of internal systems.
    • Represent NetHope externally at events to build relationships and stay informed on sector trends and opportunities.
    • Champion NetHope’s collaborative culture by proactively working across departments, engaging others in fundraising efforts, supporting donor engagement and keeping internal stakeholders informed on partner progress, needs, and contributions, and support materials for leadership engagement when needed.
    • Support key touchpoints such as the NetHope Global Summit, regional convenings, global events, and virtual engagements that showcase partner involvement.
    • Provide administrative and logistical support as needed, including scheduling, documentation, and internal coordination.
    • Ensures fundraising is aligned with NetHope’s fundraising philosophy and complies with internal policies and procedures.
    • Collaborates with Development Coordinator, Director, Strategic Partnerships and Philanthropy to allocate internal resources effectively.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Knowledge and Skills

    • Demonstrated experience meeting or exceeding fundraising goals, particularly in corporate partnerships, sponsors, or philanthropic development.
    • Strong account management and partnership stewardship skills. Experiencing running sponsorship programs and/or corporate partnership programs at a nonprofit is preferred.
    • Superior writing skills, with ability to quickly synthesize detailed program information and professionally prepare funder-facing materials to include dynamic pitch materials and presentations, fact sheets, concept notes, proposals, donor reports and updates.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders, navigating complex conversations to drive decision-making on corporate philanthropy opportunities.

    Education and Experience

    • Five to eight years of experience in fundraising, corporate partnerships, sponsorships, or philanthropic program management, particularly in nonprofit organizations.
    • Knowledge of international humanitarian and development sectors a plus.
    • Proven track record managing complex accounts, stewarding donor relationships, and supporting cross-functional collaboration.
    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution preferred or equivalent work experience
    • NetHope Member experience highly valued, other NGO experience a plus
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
    • Experience with CRM, prospect research and project management systems preferred

    Reporting and Working Conditions:

    • This position is a full-time position that reports to the Director, Strategic Partnerships and Philanthropy and works closely with department leadership, workstream leads and departments across the organization.
    • NetHope is a virtual organization, so our team, our Members, and our Partners are located around the world. Due to the global nature of the organization, meetings may thus be required at any time of the day to meet with our stakeholders in varying time zones. To meet these needs, NetHope embraces flexible schedules for team members, and we work with each other to be located globally, but still maintain a reasonable work time balance.
